fully expressed: writing to release imposter syndrome (self-study)
FULLY EXPRESSED: writing to release IMPOSTER SYNDROME
DESCRIPTION:
Self-doubt is part of being human. It’s how you respond to it that determines whether you show up in your life fully expressed or hold yourself back to avoid risk. When we allow self-doubt to guide our decisions, that is when Imposter Syndrome takes effect.
Imposter Syndrome is the subconscious belief that you are inadequate and unworthy of thriving in spaces that are beyond what is familiar to you. Imposter syndrome is the ego’s way of protecting itself and ensuring you stay within your comfort zone. Being fully expressed, on the other hand, is a path centered in authenticity and alignment, where you respond to self-doubt with conscious awareness and pursue your desires with openness and curiosity.
In this workshop, we will explore Imposter Syndrome from a creative perspective, through interactive self-discovery and storytelling exercises. You will leave this workshop with tools to help you shift your response to self-doubt, and embrace the idea that it’s safe to be yourself—just as you are—as you move through each new level that life presents to you.
The Fully Expressed Workshop will help you:
Unravel the tension that results when old limiting beliefs begin to conflict with your dreams and aspirations
Understand why you feel overwhelmed and out of place in certain environments and what it really means
Learn productive, creative ways to respond to self-doubt
Understand how to recognize and redirect self-sabotaging habits and upper limit problems
Stop dismissing your desires, interests, accomplishments, and abilities
Develop a healthier relationship with both praise and criticism
Develop a growth mindset that embraces aligned opportunities and challenges with calm assurance
Imposter syndrome is a sign that you are growing and challenging yourself.
WHAT IF THE SITUATION YOU’VE BEEN DESPERATELY AVOIDING
HOLDS THE KEY TO UNLOCK WHAT YOU DEEPLY WANT?
