AM I THE RIGHT COACH FOR YOU?

a holistic approach to creativity

. . .

My guidance includes creative insights and techniques from my experience as a blogger, creative coach, and storytelling consultant; as well as personal growth and mindset strategies from my experience as a self-care strategist and self-help author. You can learn more about my background here.

I believe that creative well-being is influenced by mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being, and that approaching life with a self-care mindset allows the fullest expression of who you are to be released.

With this perspective, I present my clients with a holistic view of the creative process that includes self-discovery work, journaling techniques, self-care strategies, idea generation tools, and storytelling methods to boost creativity on a day-to-day basis, and to sustain long-term projects and a life-long practice.

CREATIVE SUPPORT THAT MEETS YOU WHERE YOU ARE

embracing the growth process

Have you ever let yourself imagine all the places your creative callings could take you?

For me, writing began as a way to stay connected to myself when I felt completely disconnected from the life I was living. In 2013, I was in a job that looked stable on paper but felt misaligned at the soul level. I knew I wanted something different, something more creative and purpose-driven—but I didn’t have a writing degree, connections, or a clear plan. What I had was curiosity, a longing to be heard, and the courage to begin anyway.

So I started blogging.

It became my testing ground—an accessible way to experiment with voice, subject matter, and the creative process. I explored everything from freelance writing and ghostwriting to course creation and self-publishing. I wrote vulnerably about the self-discovery work I was doing behind the scenes, and those honest reflections helped me build an audience and a community of heart-centered creatives looking to do the same.

By 2019, I was deepening my craft and expanding my platform when I was commissioned to write two guided journals. That experience brought me into the traditional publishing world and taught me how to navigate real-world deadlines while still honoring my well-being and creative rhythms. I learned how to hold space for my personal life, responsibilities, and mental health—even while juggling multiple projects.

In 2023, I completed the book proposal I’d been slowly building for months and signed with my agent, Ashley Hong at Gardner Literary. Story Work: Field Notes on Self-Discovery and Reclaiming Your Narrative (Broadleaf Books, Nov 2025) is the clearest reflection yet of how I’ve used writing not just as a craft, but as a tool for personal transformation. It’s about how I moved from living a defeated, disconnected story to walking in my purpose—and how you can, too.

EVERYTHING I’VE LEARNED, I BRING INTO MY COACHING WORK

I know what it’s like to feel stuck, to second-guess your voice, to carry limiting beliefs that silence your creative potential.

I also know the power of writing to heal, to clarify, and initiate a new chapter.

Whether you’re:

  • Rewriting old narratives

  • Reconnecting with your voice, values, and vision

  • Or making tangible progress on a creative goal that matters deeply to you

...you don’t have to do it alone.

As your creative coach:

  • I hold space for both your inner reflection and your outer expression with equal care

  • Help you gently challenge the limiting beliefs and narratives that keep you stuck

  • Support you in building sustainable practices and creative momentum

…so you can move forward with courage and clarity.

FOR YEARS, I TOLD MYSELF: JUST DO IT.

If you have a creative calling, sometimes the classic ‘Just do it’ advice is exactly the kind of push you need. But if that were enough, you’d probably be off doing it already—and not here reading this.

Some of us are responsive to a more mindful approach including: foundational work that helps you build courage, a creative development plan, and a coach who has the experience to support you through the resistance and emotional blocks that you will face along the way.

Together, we’ll find your rhythm. And we’ll build practices that support both your creative work and your well-being.

when the inner work comes first,

progress happens naturally.

CLIENTS COME TO ME TO:

Reconnect with Their Creative Power

They sense they’ve lost touch with their creative spark or inner voice, and they want a guide who knows what it means to reclaim that connection from a place of depth and truth, not hustle.

Tell the Truth of Their Story

They want to write or create from an honest, embodied place. I help people make meaning from their lived experiences, not bypass them, and that gives them permission to own their full story.

Navigate a Transformation with Authenticity and Heart

They’re in a moment of professional or personal reinvention and need support holding the tension between what they’re letting go of and what they’re stepping into.

Create from Alignment, Not Obligation

They’re done with productivity for productivity’s sake. I help you slow down, listen inward, and create from a place of clarity and authentic flow.

Write as a Tool for Healing and Insight

They’re drawn to journaling, storytelling, or reflective writing but want a deeper, more structured way to access their inner world.

Build a Cohesive Body of Work

They’re ready to move from scattered projects to more intentional creative expression, whether it’s a book, a platform, or a body of work that reflects who they are becoming.

Be Seen and Held in the Creative Process

My clients don’t just want accountability—they want to be witnessed, encouraged, and gently challenged by someone who understands the emotional landscape of creative growth.

Remember That Their Voice Matters

Whether they’re emerging or returning creators, my approach reminds people that their voice is worthy of taking up space, even if the world doesn’t get it yet.

HERE IS WHAT SOME OF THEM HAVE HAD TO SAY:
